NbaStars.net / USA-Camp.com is founded on November 28, 2007 by Cenk, Berk and Gultekin Aktan in San Antonio, Texas. USA-Camp.com is proud to be a part of AKTAN Furniture, which is a family company founded in Turkey, Ankara 1932.

From years of establishment of Turkish Republic(1923), AKTAN’s have completed Cankaya Palace(President's Palace), Grand National Assembly of Turkey, more than 10 schools, many mosques, hospitals and other public and private buildings decoration, their furniture structures, interior designs as well as the doors, windows and other structures.

We had worked with Turkish government and supplied variety of merchandises to the Turkish Military. Because of our name and those successful years in the heart of Turkey’s business since 1932. Beside the strong relations with Government and Military, AKTAN’s have great reputation in domestic and international market, such as; Eastern Europe, Middle East and other Turkish Republics.

Our major business is furniture since 1932. We still have furniture stores and factories in Turkey. Alongside furniture we have had many business branches and distributions such as; automotive, textile, mattress, telecommunication, floriculture and recently Orlando Magic, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James summer Basketball Camps. We are one of the oldest and most successful companies in Turkey since 1932. We have offices in San Antonio TX, Philadelphia, PA, Ankara, TURKEY. I have been working with our company since 2006 as an AKTAN Group's US Operations Manager in San Antonio, TX.
 
CENK AKTAN
PRESIDENT

He was born in Ankara, Turkey, June 15, 1958 in Ankara. After his successful years in primary, junior and high school education in Ankara, he was graduated from Izmir Aegean University, Faculty of Business Administration in 1980 as an honor student.

VOLUNTEER WORK NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS
He has been serving in several administration positions to Genclerbirligi Football Club, since 1988

He is a member of Ankara Lions Club since 1990. He has served as present in 2001, and regional president in 2002,2003. During the Presidency, he has won a presidential contest in worldwide service, "WORLD'S MOST SUCCESSFUL PRESIDENT AWARD", and became the first Turkish president who won this award.

10th  President of the Turkish Republic, President Ahmet Necdet Sezer started the "National Education Campaign Contribution". Mr. Cenk Aktan served by engineering Turkey's first School for Autistic Children Education Centre and donate it to the Government. School for Autistic Children Education Centre’s ribbon cut by Republic of Turkey’s 9th President Suleyman Demirel, Mr. President supported him in variety of projects and activities.

He has been the president of Turkish Blinds Association 2004-2008. In his chairmanship, he has cooperated with the European Union Project Funding and raised over 300.000 Euro for the Association.

He is the member of 3rd generation Aktan’s who continue to their grandfathers profession in furniture since 1932. Beside the previously mentioned projects up to now, Cenk Akran and Aktan Furniture proudly continue to serve.

During this time, he had several business branches and distributions such as; automotive, textile, fabrics, telecommunications, in Ankara and Central Anatolia. Respectively, he has organized several trip for his dealers and staff members such as; the Southeastern Anatolia GAP Trip, Cappadocia, Pamukkale, the Black Sea, Sumela Monastery, Antalya, Cyprus, Spain and France.
He is the president of the USA-Camp.com and its U.S. Travel, NBA Basketball and Sports organizations since 2007. He is married to Serap Aktan who is Economist in 1984. His oldest son Berk was born in 1984 and Gultekin was born in 1987. Both of his sons completed their university degrees in USA and became Computer Engineer, they are currently living in the U.S. and continue to their master’s education.

BERK AKTAN 
US Operations Manager
Was born in Ankara in 1984. He has attended METU College for primary, junior and high school education. He has served to primary, junior and high school’s team, respectively in, handball, basketball and football teams. He has played football for Genclerbirligi Football Club for 3 years in his high school years.

First he has attended Baskent University Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering studies in 2005 then transfed to the United States state of Texas, San Antonio Incarnate Word University, graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering. 

Later on he has attended Computer Science Department of University of Texas in 2009 as a master’s student.

Berk was a member of Lions International Clubs since 2003, involved in many youth camps in Turkey. He has participated in the camps in United States for the first time in 2004 and has successfully completed in leadership seminars there. 

Berk has been living in United States since 2005, and served in the camps of San Antonio Spurs in 2006 and 2007. In After 2007 November, he has organized camps with the NBA teams Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, many NBA stars, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Mario Chalmers, Nick Anderson. He is currently serving to USA-Camp.com as Orlando Magic’s and LeBron James’s Basketball Training Organizations Representative of Turkey.
